Continued from Part3
Surprised by Vineeth's reaction to her proposal Ashwathi came close to Vineeth and cried
Ashwathi: What is your problem Vineeth? Don't you like me? Please be frank. I'll take whatever you say but please don't be silent and kill me. Please! Please!
Vineeth: I am sorry Ashwathi. I need 2 days time to share you my thoughts on this. Please give me couple of days. I am caught in dreadful situation which I can't reveal to anyone at the moment. But I promise that I'll tell you my wish in the next 2 days. Please wait till then.
Ashwathi: Two days is nothing. I can wait for you this whole life Vineeth.
Vineeth: Ok.I have to go now. Will call you in couple of days. Bye.
Ashwathi: Bye.

Vineeth drove back to his home and called Rakesh.

Vineeth: Hey Rakesh!! Vineeth here. I need you to spare sometime for me tommorow morning. I am going to take you to one place tommorow.
Rakesh: Is it regarding the thing that you discussed the other day??
Vineeth: Yes. Come and see for yourself.
Rakesh: Ok da. Where do I need to come?
Vineeth: No problem. I'll come and pick you up.
Rakesh: Ok da. See you tommorow.

It was a chilly morning as some joggers were going around the park near Rakesh apartment complex. Vineeth drove into the apartment complex and saw Rakesh waiting with both his hands clasped firmly together and shivering in the cold. It seemed that he was shivering of cold but it certainly wasn't the reason. Vineeth knew about it.

Vineeth: Come on dude. Get in.
Rakesh: Where are you taking me?
Vineeth: I am going there. You can see for yourself.
Rakesh: I can't bear anymore Vineeth. How did this happen?
(Vineeth ebbs his emotions out as he narrates the sequence of events that left his parents in the ICU of St. Mary's hospital.)
Vineeth: It all happened on that fateful morning. My parents had come to US to see me and my brother Rajiv.
Rakesh: Oh you have a brother?
Vineeth: Yes he is working in Texas.
Rakesh: What happened on that day?
Vineeth: Rajiv flew from Texas to Colarado the very same day our parents landed here.
It was nice to see my parents after such a long time. I realised how much I missed them. We planned to take them to various places in US but since I had project deadline that week I asked Rajiv to take them out for 2 days before we all could embark on a long journey. But fate showed its gory face on one of those two days. Rajiv's car was crushed by a truck on one of the highways in Colarado and my parents and brother received severe head injuries.

Rakesh: Oh my god!!

Vineeth's car reached the St.Mary's hospital.Both of them got out of the car and headed straight to the elevator. They took the elevator to the tenth floor of the hospital where ICU was located.

Rakesh peeped through the ICU and saw Vineeth's parents lying in a state of coma. Tears started to flow down Rakesh cheeks as he couldn't control his emotions. But suddenly he raised his eyebrows and yelled...

Rakesh: Vineeth!! Where is Rajiv? Where is Rajiv man??

Vineeth's face turned pale as he stared at the sky standing beside a window. He bursted into tears.
